WafyX - A Comprehensive Educational Scheme for Advanced Islamic Learning
WafyX is an Android application developed by Baashaa for the Coordination of Islamic Colleges (CIC) in Kerala, India. CIC is an academic governing body that integrates the curriculum of Islamic colleges in the state. WafyX is a part of CIC's comprehensive educational scheme for advanced Islamic learning, which is designed to produce a new generation of Islamic scholars with in-depth knowledge of both Islamic and secular studies.
The program offers an exhaustive postgraduate course in Islamic studies called Wafy, which is an eight-year program. It also offers a five-year exhaustive graduate course in Islamic studies coupled with a recognized university degree in any secular discipline called Wafiyya. The courses follow the modified version of Muthavval, the postgraduate course cast in the mould of erstwhile Nizamiyya Syllabus, which has been in vogue for centuries in higher Islamic studies in Kerala. WafyX is a tool that helps students pursuing these courses to learn and prepare for their exams.
